Description

Chronic stress overworks the adrenal glands, which can lead to problems throughout the body. The whole adrenal tissue and adrenal cortex in Cortrex® help tonify the adrenals. Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) has a modulating effect on cortisol activity. Vitamin C, thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin 5′-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B2), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), pyridoxal 5′-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B6), and zinc are also included for their strengthening and supportive role in optimizing adrenal function. These nutrients tend to be found in high concentrations in healthy adrenal glands.
