NOW® Dopa Mucuna contains Mucuna Pruriens Extract. Mucuna Pruriens, or Velvet Bean, is a bean that grows from vines and is very itchy to the touch due to serotonin and other substances on its surface. Mucuna is a natural source of L-DOPA, the precursor to dopamine, and contains other molecules that may aid the benefits of L-DOPA. Mucuna has been used in the traditional Ayurvedic system in India for thousands of years.

Suggested use: 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily with food.
