When the sampling stick comes into contact with the pH paper on the test panel, a colour change occurs. Separate the labia to access the vagina.
Gently insert the sampling stick about 5 centimetres into the vagina and wait for about 10 seconds.
Remove the sampling stick and compare the colour change with the accompanying colour scale.
